Start your canine off right with Basics! This class focuses on socialization and teaching your canine to be a polite, well-mannered pet.  Items covered in this class are:

• Wait / Stay

• Stand

• Down

• Moving Sits

• Playtime / On-leash Social time

Same format as the Basics class, but this class is for Junior Handlers ages 10 - 14 years of age.  Parents attend each class, but the kids do the work!

Prerequisite Basics

Not sure what will come next for you and your dog?!  Basics II will give a little sampling of Canine Good Citizen, Rally-Obedience, Intro. to Agility Handling & Tricks.  Even if you don't want to do competition, this is a great continuance class.

Prerequisite Basics &/or Basics II

This class is a drop-in format and intended as a continuance to Basics & Basics II.  If you need some extra work on your Recall, Walking Manners, Rally-O work, Canine Good Citizen items...this class if for you!  A K9 Coaches Trainer will be on-hand to address your questions and direct you in now to improve.  Since this is a class and not a private session, issues that they class is having will be first addressed.  Techniques, motivators, equipment and communication will be addressed.

Anything Goes!  The name says it all - this workshop will address any issues you are having.  Some common topics are:  Walking & Leash manners, Coming when called, manners with a guest, door manners...and anything else you may need some extra attention for.  Having some basic training is helpful, but not necessary to take this workshop.  Techniques, motivators, equipment and communication will be addressed.  $45.00 a dog.

Stress Free Nail Trims!  Does your dog get anxious when the nail trimmers come out?!  This workshop will focus on helping your dog (and you) relax during nail trimmings.  We will talk about how to trim the dreaded 'black nails' and the various equipment items that are on the market now.  Techniques such as clicker training, desensitization and associative learning will be presented.  Bring a variety of motivators and current nail trimming equipment.  $25.00 a dog.

Fun with Your Feline!  (Pre-registration required)
Who says only dogs can do tricks or learn commands!?  This 2-part workshop will explain how you can train…yes train…your feline to do things a dog can do!  Games and ideas on how to enrich your felines’ environment will also be presented.  Felines are optional at the first class; however, this may be a good time to let them experience the new environment while in their carrier.  Then the second class they come to, we will work with them.

• Felines must be on a harness & leash* or in a crate for both classes.  *Come with Me Kitty harness kits will be available for purchase.

• Felines must be FELV negative and free of any colds.  Felines will not have interaction with other felines in the class.
