K9 Coaches supports rescue work and encourages people to adopt their next canine companion from a shelter or rescue!  There are so many great dogs waiting for homes and in need of being saved.

Because of K9 Coaches own first-hand involvement with rescue, we offer clients that have adopted a canine a little assistance in getting off on the right paw with training and behavior.


Adoption Discounts

K9 Coaches offer three options:
1)  $10.00 discount off a 2-hour In-Home Session
2)  $ 5.00 discount off a Group Training Class
3)  $ 5.00 discount off a Private Training Session

Simply show your adoption contract during the session for first class for your discount.

To be eligible for this discount, enrollment of a service has to be done within 6 months of the adoption.

Good Dogs Happen

Once deemed a vicious, dangerous dog - Spitzer is now my dependable, loving demo dog.

While volunteering at a local shelter I met Spitzer; a victim of inexperienced owners and shelter stress. We started out by fostering him, to give him a break from the shelter environment, to work on basic obedience and some behavior modification. He ended up being a wonderful companion (a diamond in the rough) so we adopted him.

We then went on to complete in Rally-O in 2007 and placed 105th out of 1,152 teams...Nationally!!!

What I came to realize is that he just needed to be understood and taught proper manners.  This is what I bring to all my clients: knowledge, experience and understanding.
